Unfunded Highway, Roadway and Bridge Projects

Minnesota’s transportation system is aging and deteriorating, while at the same time, the population is growing and demands on the system increase. Many highway, local road and bridge projects are waiting for funding. Without action by the legislature and governor to increase current funding levels, these transportation infrastructure needs will continue to be major safety and mobility problems. These maps show unfunded highway, roadway and bridge projects along with the transit systems that continue to be underfunded.
