The Alliance develops its positions based on the following Funding Principles.
2008 Transportation funding Bill - Chapter 152
2008 was a landmark year for transportation funding in Minnesota. After a 20-year hiatus, the gas tax rate was finally increased while tab fees were adjusted and local governments were given the option of using new sales tax revenue for transit projects. New projects, including bridge replacements will move forward thanks to action by the 2008 Legislature.
